Seriously, does anyone know how to use an email address that is not a mac.com address as the reply-to in .mac webmal?
I only use the webmail at work, and at home Mac OS X Mail lets me use my "real" email address as the reply-to. I would love to know how to do it in webmail. An earlier poster said you can, but I just can't see how.

I have a tv with an iPod dock as a feature that can play video off my iPhone when plugged in (the dock doesn't fit my iPad, booo). I don't really see why Apple would prevent Airplay from being built in to TVs when they have iPod docks. Kind of a no brainer here.
PS: The dock wasn't a factor, it was on sale. Having Airplay might have been a factor.

Aperture and iPod the library can be transferred via iTunes 7 now also to iPod and regarded there.

The word "Podcast" is derived from iPod, of course, but the CONCEPT of podcast is not inherently ipod-related. Because of that, it inherently dilutes the iPod trademark.
You can't trademark a CONCEPT, the thing you would be looking for there is a PATENT (God forbid).

Honda has been building cars in Ohio at least since the early '90s. Had a '93 Civic built in East Liberty or Marysville... can't remember which. Sadly, the Fits (I actually own an '09) come from Japan.
I remember once upon a time where foreign car manufacturers were giving preferential treatment to home country parts suppliers. I wonder if this is still the case?

met line from pinner so may be late if there are delays. hope they still have some copies of Tiger left as i need one for my old eMac. should be on sale right?
i hear that hamleys will be selling Leopard for �49.00 on the day and starting at 5.45 pm. also free beer and a wink from the cashier with every copy sold.

That's true but I can't understand how anyone can be looking at this years budget deficit on top of the entire 14trillion+ deficit and not saying America needs huge (in the trillions) cuts and raised taxes and now.

Out of interest, does anyone know anything about a special offer on Macs bought on Friday, because I seem to remember reading that there was a 10% discount on all Macs bought on the day that Tiger was released? Has anyone heard about anything like this?

I'm hoping to see those OpenGL improvements significantly boost my Quake 1 fps on my MacBook.

do you think these updated macbooks will have a true video card and not an intergrated one? :confused:
I'd assume still an integrated one? no evident, just a feeling... i just don't see apple to upgrade macbook that much yet.. i mean, it was updated a lot from ibook so..

Just in case the stealth mission doesn't work call up some Somali pirates for back up.
I'll be in the elevator with said midget, make that a snappier elevator, to allow for quick transport to the hull of the ship. Once in the storage area we can grab the 2011 iMacs and perhaps a few white Jesus phones ;)

We wouldn't use them for killing. Quite the contrary. As an Intelligence Analyst I can say that I would love to have a Mac based system for all of our mapping/communication/networking needs. We wouldn't even need a "tough book" like computer, since most of my work is done out of a tent or a building. A rubber casing or strip could easily seal the ports. I have been wanting to incorporate my MBP into my work more and more.
+1 for mapping. When I worked at a Joint Reserve Intelligence Center (JRIC) the intel guys that deal with imagery (sorry I don't know the term) used Macs with 30 inch ACD's.

I'm pretty sure it is just the one.
Its one disk that lets you install the OS on more that one computer (up to 5 I think) where as the normal one only lets you install once.
